Bea: You only came to gather evidence against Frau Krawczyk?

Michael: Götting reported her drinking problems months ago.

Bea: Why are you telling me all of this?

Michael: I could keep silent on this matter...if you rescinded your resignation

Bea: So you are demanding that I stay…or else Frau Krawczyk's career is ruined?

Michael: Yes. Her fate is in your hands.

[In front of Bea's apartment]

Bea: That's blackmail.

Michael: Call it what you may. If Krawcyk is supposed to remain the principal then she is going to need our support. Mine and yours.

Bea: But why? Why can't you just not report her and let me go?

Michael: If you leave and she keeps drinking then I'm going to have to report her. I won't have any choice. You know exactly how irresponsible it would be to uphold an alcoholic principle.

Bea: But all of this can't depend on just me now, can it?

Michael: Yes, it can! Because she needs you!

Bea: Even if I wanted to, I couldn't stay.

Michael: Mrs Krawcyk.

Michael: Uhm, yes. Why don't we talk to each other,openly? You've got a drinking problem. And that's been going on for a while 's the reason why I came to replace Mrs Noak...to find out, for the school board, if the rumours are true.

 

[Pestalozzi, hallway]

Sophie: What you are making up is so sick!

Luzi: I just told you the truth, ok?

Sophie: You weren't even there when the kiss happened. But I was. And besides that: I know Caro. I would notice if she lied to me.

Luzi: But you also know Timo, don't you? He is the most honest guy I've ever met! And if you don't want to realize just how much you mean to him then that's really all your own fault.

Sophie: Maybe you're wrong and Timo isn't as great as you think.

Luzi: And why should I be fooling myself?

Sophie: I've got no idea. Maybe you're into him and that's why you don't realize what he's really like. Or you just want to get back at Caro because you know that you're not standing a chance against her. Why don't you just mind your own business and stay out of my life? It's none of your business! Mrs Krawcyk: Did I get this right? You've been spying on me this whole time?

Michael: Let's put it this way: You've been under special observation. I didn't like doing it but it was part of my assignment.(Spying on Ladies is?Classy..)

Mrs Krawcyk: Well, at least you are honest.

Michael: If it's any comfort to you, I also had the opportunity to get an idea of the colleagues . And regarding Mr Götting, I don't want him to take over your spot as little as you do.

Mrs Krawcyk: Julian Götting mustn't take the helm!(Ivanova must!How cool would that be?) You know his vision of a "good" school.

Michael: Yes, oh yes, I do! But the colleagues at the school board unfortunately aren't interested in my opinion of Mr Götting...And even he is a minor problem compared to a principal that's an alcoholic. You have to get professional help! You know that your school needs you!

[Pestalozzi, Auditorium]

Luzi explains the performance to Mrs Noak who replaces Bea.(Hmm, didn't Heisig replace ?Common name at Pestalozzi..)

Luzi: Well, we're going to start out slowly, like in a ballad. After the intro the tempo will increase.

Mrs Noak: So it's going to be an allegro. Or rather a lively Vivace?

Luzi: Uhmm, what about "more speed"?

Mrs Noak: Why don't you just rehearse like you are used to?

Luzi: Ok, good. We'll start with the intro again.1, 2, 3, 4...

(STAG performs Christina Aguilera's 'Genie in a Bottle'. Götting suddenly enters the Auditorium.)(Vivace, FTW!)

Götting: May I briefly interrupt? Dear Mrs Noak, have you already told your students about who is going to be the new principal? It's going to be me. At least until Mrs Krawcyk is back. Unfortunately Mrs Vogel left us, as well and now I have to make sure that class continues. That's why I don't have any other choice but to pull you out of here and assign you to regular lessons. Hence, the STAG gets dissolved as of right now.

Emma: What?

Luzi: Uhm, you can't just put a ban on us!

Götting: It's not me, it's the insurance. If someone hurts his/her leg or breaks his/her voice, who is going to be held responsible?

Luzi: What if we do find a teacher though?

Götting: Alright,...show me a supervising teacher by tomorrow. Otherwise I'll see myself forced to shut down the AG...Why don't you just launch a golfing AG? Then I'd be in voluntarily right away!

(Mrs Noak and a mischievous Götting leave the Auditorium.)

Timo: He can't be serious!

Luzi: Anyway, we're going to show him who we are!

(The singing Pestalozzi golf club!)

 

[Pestalozzi, stairway]

Sophie: Sorry, I'm late! Luzi was bothering me. I was just about to text you, too.

Caro: So that I have something to read while I'm waiting?(Gotta love Caro, a little, sometimes)

Sophie: Hey it's not my fault! Luzi was totally bothering me!

Caro: What does she want from you?

Sophie: Well, nothing.

Caro: Because she is into him! I mean, any fool can see that! Why else would she make such a big deal out of it?

Sophie: It doesn't matter anyway.

Caro: Exactly. Because we have some other things to mind. We definitely have to show Ms Lohmann that we're still playing in the top! And hence I suggest doing an extra training session. (Sophie doesn't look very thrilled about it.) Or not?

Sophie: Uh, yes!...I'm just still annoyed about Luzi.

Sophie: You're right! That cow can shove it!

[Bea's apartment]

Bea keeps packing but then decides to go out.(Surprise?Anyone?)

Sebastian: I see, you screwed things up.

Michael: Why are you thinking that?

Sebastian: Do you remember my small motorbike that you drove into the lake? That look,exactly!

Michael: Ok. I've done something that might be a little doubtful ethically. (A little..)Anyway, it's possible that I blew it with some people that mean a lot to me. And now no hackneyed saying, ok?

Sebastian: Well, what do you expect as an undercover informer? It was obvious that they wouldn't award you with a friendship bracelet!

Michael: It's not about my job.

Sebastian: It doesn't matter what it is about! In war and school anything is allowed!

Michael: In war and love.

A devastated Ben is looking at some pictures of him and Bea.

[In front of the Bergmann Villa]

Bea is sitting in her car and wants to call Ben but hesitates. Then after being half way out of her car, she gets back in and leaves.

Timo: Götting really is an a**hole!

Hotte: He obviously got pushed down the toilets with his head first in his own days of school! And now we have to suffer for it!

Emma: But the AG is Ms Vogel's baby! We can't just let them take it away from us like that!(Lubz you Emmakins!Thinking of , when we all know, that it means the world to you,too;-))

Luzi: We won't! Ms Vogel fought for the AG and now we're going to keep doing so!

Timo: Yes but I don't know who else to ask. What about him? (He points at Michael who is sitting at the bar.)

Luzi: Yes right! Why not?(Cause teacher?Club?Outside of school?Oh,never mind me..he might agree if you buy him a drink..)

(They go over to Michael.)

Luzi: Excuse me, Mr Heisig. Uhm could I ask you a question, please?

Michael: What is it?

Luzi: Well , it's about the AG "Singen und Tanzen". We've got a serious problem with Mr Götting.

Michael: Well, you aren't the only ones.

Luzi: Uh yes. Anyway, we really need a teacher who supervises us. Because if we don't find anybody by tomorrow Mr Götting is going to dissolve our AG.

Michael: What? And now you want me to…(laughs) no no!

Luzi: Please! It's an emergency!

Michael: Listen, I don't even sing in the shower. No, but seriously now, I don't think that I'm the right one for this.

Luzi: No, you're perfect! We just need a supervisory teacher for tomorrow.

Sebastian: She has recognized your real talent!

Michael: (to Sebastian) You keep quiet now! (to STAG) Well ok, I don't want to promise you too much, but if everything goes well then your problem could resolve itself by tomorrow. Just wait and see.

(You're a shameless idiot,Michael..how about helping some students out instead of blackmailing their former teacher?)

[Pestalozzi, school yard]

Timo: Please, Sophie, wait!

Sophie: What do you want?

Timo: Please, Sophie, wait!

Sophie: I don't want to talk to you!

Timo: I didn't kiss Caro! Why won't you believe me? Why should I be hitting on Caro?

Sophie: Because you think she's sexy? I saw the way you stared at her!

Timo: In that case really nobody could have looked away! She was more or less naked.

Sophie: And you also said that you think she looks beautiful.

Mrs Krawcyk: Yes, I do. I'll have to take on responsibility for my behavior. But you know something? Maybe it's for the best that way. It's about time to face problems. I've been running away for too long. I hope I didn't disappoint you too much.

Bea: You didn't. I know how difficult it is to do your own ideas justice. I hope I can start from scratch again in Munich.

Mrs Krawcyk: The feelings must be deep,if Munich seems to be the only solution.

Bea: I just can't get the matter with Ben under control. It only got worse with every encounter. I can't fight my feelings. I don't have any other choice but to leave.

 

[Pestalozzi, Auditorium]

STAG performs Marit Larsen's "If A Song Could Get Me You" with no motivation and emotion at all.

Luzi: What…what was…ok, let's do it again starting from the 2nd verse.

Hotte: We're rehearsing for a band festival we won't be participating in anyway. It's kind of weird.

Luzi: Now don't you be so negative! Of course they will choose us! We still have enough time to rehearse.

Emma: But not when STAG is going to be dissolved.

Luzi: Yesterday Heisig said our problem would be resolved today.

Emma: How is he supposed to do this?

Luzi: I've no idea! Am I a fortune-teller? Yesterday he said that we shouldn't worry, so we won't worry. If all fails, we can rehearse in a garage.

Hotte: In a garage? With a piano?

Luzi: Yes, of course! We can do everything when we want it! So will we go on with rehearsing now or not?...Come on, Timo, say something, too!...Ok…

Timo: Sorry, I'm done.

(He leaves the Auditorium.)

Luzi: Thanks! Great support! (to Emma & Hotte) Alright, then let the three of us go on.

Hotto: There's no point in this anymore! And besides, we aren't allowed to rehearse without a teacher anyway.

Luzi: Gosh, Hotte, now don't be a chicken!

Emma: Don't take it personal, Luzi, but it's pointless indeed.

Luzi: But we can't just pack it all in now!

Emma: Sorry.

(Emma follows Hotte out of the Auditorium leaving Luzi behind.)

[Pestalozzi, school gate]

Bea: Ben!

Ben: You're still here?

Bea: Something got in my way.

Ben: So you are going to stay here after all?

Bea: I wanted to talk to you first. Ben, listen. I can only stay if you promise me something.

Ben: Why does this sound so familiar to me?(To both of us..)

Bea: This time it's different.

Ben: You're going to tell me once again that we can't be together; that I'm your student and you're my teacher; that I don't mean anything to you…

Bea: Precisely not. If you didn't mean anything to me it would be easy. But you do mean something to me.

Ben: Then just accept it for once!

Bea: And if I mean something to you, too, then you're going to help me do the right thing! Ben, I won't manage without you! You have to promise me that our relationship is going to end right now. Otherwise I won't be able to teach here any longer.

Ben: But that's total bullsh*t…

Bea: No 'but'. Please, Ben.

(Ben, grow a brain..)

[Pestalozzi, Auditorium]

Luzi is sitting at the piano, not knowing what to do, when Timo walks back in.

Timo: I'm an idiot. I'm sorry for having left just like that earlier. It sucked. Here, I think we'll still need these.

(He gives Luzi some sheets of music.)

Luzi: (ironically) Really?

Timo: As long as you don't give up, the AG exists.

Luzi: Yes, the AG that I run so smoothly that everybody drops out of the rehearsals.

Timo: That's nonsense! They were all in such a bad mood because of Götting, not you! And if I hadn't left like that then the others surely would have stayed, too.

Luzi: And what was going on earlier?

Timo: (sighs) I talked to Sophie again. But I also could have done without that. That's it with me and Sophie. I just didn't want to accept it,somehow.

Luzi: And I didn't want to accept the fact that Götting is going to crush us.

Timo: We're not going to let this happen! Mr Heisig said we would get a new teacher. And if not we still won't give up. We're standing our ground! We owe that to Ms Vogel. So now give me the song you wanted to rehearse ealier. We should be prepared.

Luzi: Ok, let's try.

 

[Pestalozzi, school gate]

Ben: How do you think this is supposed to work? Do you think I've got a damn "reset"- button that I can press just like that and then forget about everything?

Bea: No.

Ben: Do you know what you are asking of me?

Bea: Yes, I do! But this is not about you. And it's not about me either. There are people I owe a lot to. And they need my help now. I feel obligated to stay but I can't if we keep going like this.

Ben: If ending our relationship is the only way for you to stay then…it would be easier for me if you left for Munich.

(Ben leans in for a kiss but Bea turns her head away quickly.)

Ben: Goodbye.

(Michael shows up.)

Michael: Bea!

Ben, you're such an ass, and you have now officially lost all !
