There were so many beautiful scenes in today's episode that I couldn't help but cry... chasing cars was very well-used (although it irritates the hell out of me hearing it for the 100th time), the editing was breathatking, not to mention our two amazing actresses' peformance, overwhelming!

OMG! Is there a Jemma fan out there that is NOT crying right now?

*gasp*......I......*gasp*..........CAN'T........*gasp*..........BREATHE......... OMG! This episode is trying to kill me.

Ammy, Andi, and all other Jemma fans, hang in there! Jemma will stay strong (I can't wait for the English version and have been refreshing this page like every 5 minutes!)

Lolo, same here. I keep refreshing here and checking my facebook every few mins, hoping the post about the english transcripts.

On a side note: I am now feeling an overwhelming urge to run down to my local IKEA and lay on "Jenny's" flower bedset and not leave until I am physically removed. I need happy memories!

Besides what everyone else has said, is Jenny standing in a hole outside the Bergman palace, or are her parents giants?

And the music when Ben and Bea are being watched by Michael and Helena sounds very Lost-inspired to me.

I'm thinking of other things to take my mind off the sad episode :o(

Wow! I actually couldn't wait for the english transcripts and decided to watch this episode now even though I knew I wouldn't really understand all of the dialogue and all I can say is...Wow! I am overwhelmed! Lucy Scherer and Kasia are amazing!!! I want to cry and I feel so heart broken! This was amazing! Chasing Cars was great back ground music and I agree with @Andi it is overused but worked well here. Kasia really gave everything here from her good bye to ST-AG, the crying and the running! I love Jemma! Waaa!

The English is up now.Sorry you guys, I really meant for this to be speedy today, but was kept at work.xoxo

    Anns (Donnerstag, 18 August 2011 21:38)

Don't worry Ami! You are always speedy enough for us.
I loved the fact that Jennys parents looked like giants, it made Jenny look so..well, small. Childlike. Someone that bends to her parents wishes. I also loved the Chasing Cars -scene. It looked like Emma grabbed Jenny and lifted her in her arms and spinned her around and I totally cried. And I never cry! Oh Jemma, what have you done to me and my mental health.

    Mel (Donnerstag, 18 August 2011 22:02)

Omg. that was the saddest thing ever!!! I loved the part where they're kissing and Emma is clearly crying at the same time. It was so sad, but omg great acting! I want to go to Cologne and find Ronnie and rip his head off for doing this to Jemma. They did an awesome job with Chasing Cars too. <3 Jemma :D

    Lolo (Donnerstag, 18 August 2011 22:07)

Thx for the English translation. I cried again while reading it! Anyways, did anyone notice how quickly Emma got into running shoes for her Run Emma Run scene after leaving Luzi's house in boots to save her Jenny? Wow, love is really a wonderful thing...

  • #12

    Anns (Donnerstag, 18 August 2011 22:14)

@Lolo, I did not notice that! I'm laughing my ass off right now. I definitely have to check that out. Hopefully Emma threw those ugly boots in the shrubbery and we will never see them again.

    Andi (Donnerstag, 18 August 2011)

@Lolo: Omg really! :DD That's it, love doesn't give you wings, love gives you running shoes!! God, I love this show!

  • #14

    amidola (Donnerstag, 18 August 2011 22:34)

Well, just for your info, it needs to give you running shoes, cause the street Emma was running down was about 12 miles from the Bergmann's!

  • #15

    Clijsters3 (Donnerstag, 18 August 2011 22:50)

I'm speechless...I mean that final scene, well words can't describe how good it is, sad but good. The production of it was brilliantly thought out, I presume it was done this way to please all the Jemma fans. The HaH team listened to us and did Jemma justice.

I want to also point out what a good runner Kasia is, she has a very good technique, maybe that explains how she can run 12 miles then appear like she's not out of breath!

  • #16

    Andi (Donnerstag, 18 August 2011)

Well done Emma! 12 miles running without taking any means of transport to get there where you are heading, that's love for sure! Just imagine that Chasing Cars scene with Emma waiting for the bus.

  • #17

    Kirsty (Donnerstag, 18 August 2011 22:58)

Oh my goodness! I hope this gets sorted soon, my poor broken heart can't take much more of this. What amazing acting by Lucy and Kasia. I also decided just to watch before the English translation was up and just was amazed at their facial expressions. Thanks for translations though :) and the comments - 'Disney World?' cracked me up.

    amidola (Donnerstag, 18 August 2011 23:07)

    @andi:
Watching this the second time through, the song actually cracked me up:Emma was in fact, chasing a car!
Now I have this picture of her in my head, how Emma is standing at the bus stop, hopping up and down:-)And then her jumping over benches, or hijacking that bus, and driving it into a subway station, and then making out with Jenny, after they defused the bomb, hidden in the bu..wait,wrong movie.

    Ammy (Donnerstag, 18 August 2011 23:22)

@Ami...I almost peed my pants laughing! But how hot would that be if that did happen.

Though, god forbid, if when I graduate film school I become a bigtime producer I would have to call up those Lovely ladies and tell them we are gonna make a movie about their HAH characters and it will be based on all the scenarios given by the JemmaNation commenters througout the episodes. It would be PURE GOLD!

Devil may cry (Donnerstag, 18 August 2011 23:51)

The hand kiss is so beautifully done. But blink and you'd miss it!

  • #21

    Andi (Donnerstag, 18 August 2011 23:53)

    @Ami:

    "We'll do it all
    Everything
    On our own

-Emma is looking at her wristwatch-

    "We don't need
    Anything"

    -still looking...-

    Or anyone

    -looking...-

    "If I lay here"

    -YES! The bus arrived!-

    "If I just lay here"

-Emma sits down on the bus-

"Would you lie with me and just forget the world?"

    -sitting... sitting...-

    "I don't quite know
    How to say
    How I feel"

-Yeah! first bus stop! Still 16 left-

Yeah, the running solution was much more dynamic.

Ps.: you should write a script! that would be an awesome HAH/Jemma movie! But you should really include some dancing/singing scenes somewhere between hijacking the bus and defusing the bomb. ;)

Firstly you all make me laugh so hard and I definitely needed that after this episode! When Emma was saying bye to the the group and went to hug Caro there's this moment where she has her hand on Caro's shoulder and kind of pauses and looks down at the ground. It makes me laugh even after multiple viewings.

I noticed the not so discreet shoe and was glad! When Emma started running the first thing I did was look at her shoes cause I thought how hard it was going to be if they made her run in the fugly shoes.

And that last scene, so much wonderful Jemma-ness.

    San (Freitag, 19 August 2011 01:08)

@Metric07 OMG! That Emma moment with Caro cracks me up too!

If the transcript made me cry, I'll probably be a blubbering idiot when I finally watch it later tonight. Now off to play tennis, but I'll be thinking about the Jemma goodness that awaits me. *sigh*

I'm having trouble on the Sat1 site seeing the video now. I'm hoping that means high traffic on the website.

Loved the tenderness at the end. Kasia and Lucy really did a great job.

We need a second season to hassle the wardrobe dept. to get better shoes for Emma. I second the gray boots in the shrubbery vote!!

@ Ammy, YES to the HaH/Jemma movie! There is so much great material and talents here! Can't wait already~~

Such an amazing episode & acting from Kasia and Lucy (& others)! Thanks for the translation, ami.

OMG... Kasia and Lucy...amazing, just amazing.

    Kirsty (Freitag, 19 August 2011 07:53)

I really love how Emma is being the strong one here, trying to take charge and persuade Jenny to stay and fight. Emma has really grown in confidence since being with Jenny. And Kasia is the master of crying - that one tear rolling down her cheek...so sad.

  • #28

    San (Freitag, 19 August 2011 08:03)

360 hug?! Why didn't anyone mention the 360 hug? Did I miss somebody mentioning the 360 hug? OMG there was a 3-FN-60 hug!!!

@Kristy The zoom in, queue single tear down cheek just killed me.

    Yet another great episode!

    Tintin (Freitag, 19 August 2011 08:58)

The episode is sad and overwhelming but reading your comments made me laugh, especially the part where Emma had her running shoes on. Jemma the movie would be great, I hope they will put English subs. =)

  • #30

    Metric07 (Freitag, 19 August 2011 09:16)

@San haha it's truly a hilarious moment, glad someone else picked up on it :)

    Andi (Freitag, 19 August 2011 11:13)

Btw I THINK those boots are Kasia's... seriously. I mean she was wearing them at the Berlin flashmob, and I don't think they made them wear the characters' clothes for that flashmob.

  • #32

    Kirsty (Freitag, 19 August 2011 14:18)

@Andi wow, you're right, I hadn't noticed that before. Why would she have to wear her own boots as Emma though? Maybe there's 2 pairs...Someone needs to ask her about this if they see her :)

  • #33

    tamu13 (Freitag, 19 August 2011 15:03)

wait until next episode .. the shoes drama will come again .. LOL

  • #34

    Kirsty (Freitag, 19 August 2011 15:30)

And did anyone notice at the start when Jenny can't look at Emma, Emma puts her hands on Jenny's shoulders and sort of forces her to look at her- honestly, Lucy and Kasia's physical acting is fantastic

  • #35

    Randy (Freitag, 19 August 2011 16:34)

Kasia and Lucy are superb actors. Far better than many Hollywood actors, who could learn a lot from these two. I agree with @Kirsty that their "physical acting is fantastic." Much of the intimate touching and eye contact is beyond script instruction. They react to each other naturally and bring their own nuances to their roles.
