Doc: It's Dr. Strausberg. I'm Timo Özgül's physician.

Doc: He disappeared from the hospital.

Karin: What do you mean he disappeared from the hospital? Why?

Doc: I assume he's looking for his girlfriend.

Karin: Then he's looking for Luzi.

Doc: In the further examinations we did today, we've seen that one of his vertebrae is semi fractured.

 

 

Luzi: Hopefully nothing happened to him! I mean, what if he collapsed somewhere.

Ben: Hey, everything will be okay.

(Timo sees them hug)

Timo: So it's true!

Ben: Man, are you insane? You need to get to the hospital!

(Timo shoves Ben)

Timo:I thought you are my friend!

 

(Timo collapses in pain)

[At the hospital]

 

Luzi: F*ck, this is all my fault.

Ben: No, it's not.

Luzi: Yes, it is. I should've...

Ben: What?

Luzi: Timo wanted to get back together with me, but I told him that there is someone else.

Ben: You mean me?

Luzi: Yes. - - And if I only would have kept my mouth shut then he would be fine now.

(Karin enters.)

Karin: Didn't the doctors tell you anything yet?

Luzi: He's still being operated...

Karin: Timo showed up at your house? Why did he have to stand up anyway? The doctor forbade it.

Luzi: He wanted to sort something out with me.

(Michael is sleeping on the couch. Bea enters and kisses his forehead before grabbing her phone.)

Miriam: Almost.

Bea: Can we meet?

Miriam: Did something happen?

Bea: No. I just need someone to talk to.

Miriam: Okay, sure.

Bea: Then I'll come to Saal 1. In 10 minutes?

Miriam: Yes, sure.

Ronnie's friend: This guy is really stubborn.

Karin: Timo? -- Everything will be alright. The doctors are pleased about the operation. Did you let your father know?
Timo: He is still in Istanbul. I don't want to call there. I don't understand. Where am I?

Karin: The results of the MRT said that you had a broken vertebrae. And because you were running around... But you were lucky. The important part is that you are here again, so that they were able to operate you immediately. Shall I call your father? Or do you want to do this on your own? Bea: You mean Ben Bergmann? I meet with him weekly for a talk. But he doesn't present an acute problem.

 

[On the school ground]

 

Ben: Fuck. I'm sorry.

 

(Ronnie arrives driving Ben's car. He honks leading Helena+Bea to walk to a window to watch the scene.)

 

Ronnie: I thought your car was in desperate need for a pimp.

Ben: You little asshole!

Ronnie: Originally I meant to scratch two lines up on the front, but let's wait for that a little bit longer. Since the Turk is still laying in the hospital. I told you, don't mess with me.

Ben: Dude, you're as deep in it as I. Don't you get it? Why don't you get yourself a necklace saying 'It was me!' right away? What are you? A psycho?

Ronnie: Maybe.

Ben: Maybe?

Ronnie: Maybe I just consider it worth it to wipe your stupid arrogance off of your face.

Emma: Hey, could you stop that?

 

Helena: Oh, so he doesn't present a problem anymore.

Bea: Oh, shit.

Helena: Well, now hurry.

Emma: What's all this about?

Ben: You won't get it any other way, will you?

Emma: Ms. Vogel!

Ronnie: Give it to me!

Bea: HEY! HEY! Guys! Stop! GUYS! What's all this about, again? Can't you resolve this in another way?

Ronnie: I don't think so.

Bea: You're risking to get suspended.

(Ben laughs at Ronnie)

Bea: And you, too!

 

(Helena, watching from the window, sighs dreamily.)
Helena: Hm, sweet.

 

[Raumschiff Records]

 

Frank: Hello, I'm glad you were able to come.

Luzi: Um, this is my mother.

Karin: Hello.

Frank: Good day.

Karin: Karin Beschenko. I hope it's okay that I came along. I wanted to get a picture of this.

Frank: Yes, well then let's not waste time. Do you go over to the next room, you know the way. Okay?

(Luzi leaves to go inside the studio)

Frank: She's really talented. Please. - - Are you ready? Just choose any song. Okay. And go.

 

Luzi: It's a good thing tears never show in the pouring rain. As if a good thing ever could make up for all the pain.

 

Frank: Okay, Luzi, wait. Just imagine we wouldn't be there, yeah? Only concentrate on your feeling. It'd be best to sing this song to your friend in the hospital.

[At the hospital]

 

Timo: Hey. I'm sorry you had to work overtime for me. I really messed up. But I'm glad the operation went well.

Doc: We accomplished a lot but unfortunately not all.

Timo: That means?

Doc: That the spinal marrow was too much damaged for a complete recovery.

Timo: For what? Will I pull a leg after me, or can't I do any sports anymore?

Doc: No. When will your parents arrive?

Timo: My father is still in Istanbul. I haven't called him yet. Was is wrong with me now?

Doc: I'm sorry, but I have to tell you that your legs won't be able to take over any motoric functions. You're paraplegic.
