Episode 193

[Review]

Mrs Jäger:Mrs Vogel has just withdrawn her request for some vacation. As far as I know …Mr Heisig is still going to go on vacation!

Ronnie:Hey. You know The Flying Octopus?

Frank:What is it about The Flags?

Ronnie:You wanted them…you’ll get them!

(Ronnie hands Frank a document)

Ronnie:Partner?

Stefan:I would think long and hard about this! Because your talisman will have to stand trial soon.

(Stefan shows the radar picture to Frank)

Stefan:An explanation: That’s you, Ronnie! You drove the race and caused the accident.

[Intro]

[At RaumZeit Records]

Ronnie:Hey I can explain it!.

Stefan:I’m sure of that.I’ll leave the two of you alone. Now you know the score. Have a nice evening.

Stefan leaves

Ronnie: Boy, he had fun doing that.

Frank:Yes, he did.

Ronnie:Then why do you believe him?

Frank:Ronnie, it doesn’t change the facts.

Ronnie:So? I drove too fast with Ben’s car. So what? You are not even mentioning that I closed the deal with The Octopus.

Frank:Damn, Ronnie, stop it!

Ronnie:What? I convinced this Sanio to sign with us! The Sanio whose number you couldn’t even get!

Frank:Ronnie, stop trying to change the subject! This fucking photo proves that you raced on the highway with Ben Bergmann’s car on the day of the accident!

Ronnie:But it’s far from being proof that I actually caused the damn accident.

Frank: Of course it is! And let me give you some good advice: if you don’t want this to end in an absolute nightmare you will go to the police and turn yourself in.

Ronnie: Good advice, but declined unanimously.

[At Pestalozzi, teachers‘ room]

Ben:I’ll help you.

Mrs Jäger:Thank you.

Ben:Then math class with Ms Vogel takes place as usual?

Mrs Jäger:Yes.

Ben:But she wanted to go on a trip ?

Mrs Jäger:Sometimes plans change.

Ben:But Mr. Heisig isn’t here, is he?

Mrs Jäger:Seems like it.

[At Pestalozzi, auditorium]

STAG performing *Think*

Mrs Jäger and Mrs Krawczyk watch the performance

Mrs Krawczyk:I believe, that they will have a lot of attention for the topic..

(Super gay ex-principal on the radar!)

Mrs Jäger:I didn’t know that STAG was preparing a performance?

Mrs Krawczyk:Ms Vogel is organizing a spontaneous appearance with the students to protest against discrimination at the school.

Mrs Jäger:Ah, that’s the reason why she’s not going to Venice. Ms Vogel always puts her students first and her private life last..

Helena:Ms Vogel has a very close connection to her students.. I could say it that way,no?

Mrs Krawczyk:Yes, you can.

Helena:As the principal of this school, I am fortunate to be having such enthusiastic teachers in my employ..

Mrs Krawczyk:But?

Helena:But I also have to watch out, that this enthusiasm won't influence the day to day school life too much.

Mrs Jäger:But shouldn’t it be the aim to gain as much attention as possible with such an action day?

Helena:Of course.

Mrs Jäger: (whispering to Mrs Krawczyk) She's always trying to bring things down.

Helena:I don’ want to be impolite, but don't you have anything to do?

Mrs Jäger:Of course.

Mrs Krawczyk:Of course.

Helena watches Ben as he is looking at Bea and the STAG

[At Pestalozzi, on the sofas]

Emma: This was really cool. I Haven’t had that much fun in a long time.

Jenny: I’m so glad you’re feeling better

Emma: Me too.

Kissing

Jenny: Mmmh, that feels so good.

Emma: Mmmh. I’m sorry that I was so weird for so long.

Jenny’s answering with ashake of the head.

Emma: Jenny?

Jenny: Emma?

Emma: Are you happy?

Jenny: Yes, of course!

Emma: I mean… you aren't missing anything?

Jenny: As long as you are here – No!

What’s the matter?

Emma: I mean…you and I …our relationship…Do you want to go a step further?

Jenny:That would be great.

Emmaswallows nervously: Yes?

Jenny:Hey, don’t stress yourself out, okay? It’ll happen when it happens. Okay? Don’t worry about it. Hm?

Jenny kisses Emma’s hand.

Emma:Okay.

[At Chulos’]

Ronnie:Ey, this was the last time I did something for Frank! I’ve landed the mega-deal for him and he just keeps talking about the damn radar photo the whole day! And Ben, this wanker! This little, cowardly rat! Runs to daddy first thing and lets' him do the Jonas job.

Sophie:Jonas?

Ronnie:Well, Jonas! That betrayer from the Bible who let Jesus hang, man!

Sophie:That was Judas.

Ronnie:I don’t give a sh*t! Who cares anyway?

Sophie:Dammit, what are we going to do now?

Ronnie:Well, I’ll go to Ben and beat him up. But this time I'll do it right!

Sophie:Hey, hey, wait! A false alibi...that’s a criminal offense! I mean, maybe we should just testify and hire a lawyer. That way, we’ll only get a few hours of community service as well!

Ronnie:We’ll be getting nothing! Because we are sticking to our story!

Sophie:But...

Ronnie:Hey, now come here. Relax, sweetie, huh? And don’t lose your head! That won’t help at all!

[At RaumZeit Records]

Miriam:Frank, what I wanted to ask you about the contract...

Frank:(very angrily)WHAT???

Miriam:Sorry, I’ll come back later.

Frank:Ok, Miriam, please. I’m sorry.

Miriam:No problem. You’ve argued with your brother. After that it’s not easy to calm down quickly. I know that.

Frank:Well, arguing would be harmless. But this time he's really crossed the line!

[At Chulos’]

Ronnie:You know what's really making me sick? That he's acting as though he were my father. But he isn’t!

Sophie:Maybe you should talk to him again, after all. I mean, he basically just means well.

Ronnie:You’re wrong again! Frank isn’t doing this because it’s better for me. But to show me who’s the boss.

[At RaumZeit Records]

Frank:You know, he promised me to pull himself together when we started over in Cologne. But he's continuing on exactly from where he stopped in Berlin. He’s even lying to my face!

Miriam:Maybe you'll have to draw some lines?

Frank:I thought he would manage to pull himself together again with some support and trust. Well...after all I’m not a father. I mean I was still a child myself when my parents died. I just didn't manage.
Miriam:Frank, what you just said... that sounds exactly like a father. If it hasn’t been enough that you're trusting him again, then you should make your position very clear to him.

[At Chulos’]

Bodo:Lara!

Lara:(annoyed) What’s up?

Bodo:I was just about to ask you that.

Lara:Well, everything is fine with me.

Bodo: Uh, honestly, I don’t understand anything anymore.

Lara:Maybe if you see this? (she shows him her phone)

Bodo:Your mobile phone?

(Lara shows him the picture of Bodo and Mrs Jäger)

Lara: Here! You’ve got something going on with Mrs Jäger? How sick is that??

Bodo:I’ve got what? What …what? Ingrid is my aunt!

Lara:Uh, sure and Santa Claus is my uncle!

Bodo:When I left Hamburg...my dad was a teacher at my former high school and I was the teacher’s son to everyone. It totally sucked! If I had told, that Ingrid, I mean Mrs Jäger, was my aunt then everybody surely would have thought ‘Oh, whatever Wilhelmsen knows, the whole schooloffice knows, too. And then everybody would have avoided me again. That’s why I didn’t say anything.

[At RaumZeit Records]

Frank:I’ve hired a lawyer for you.

Ronnie:Forget it!

Frank:He’ll conduct your defence.

Ronnie:Dude, don’t waste the money.

Frank:Ronnie, the police know already. Tomorrow, you’re going to make a confession in the presence of your lawyer.

Ronnie:Are you going to ship me off to jail, or what?

Frank:Who is talking about jail here? If you confess, you’ll get no more than a probation and a few hours of community service!

Ronnie:No way!

Frank:Okay. What do you want to do? Do you want to wait until Stefan reports you?

Ronnie:I didn’t do anything! So what should happen to me?

Frank:You know you’re sitting there pretending that nothing has happened. Have you thought about the fact that two people died and one is tied to a wheelchair because of you? Has the thought occurred to you that those people could still be alive if you hadn’t driven towards this bus like an insane idiot??!!

Ronnie:I didn’t have any accident! That teacher crashed into the bus! Got it? I didn’t have anything to do with the accident!

Frank:Ronnie, I don’t give a sh*t what you think about it. You’ll go to the police tomorrow and tell them that you took part in this race! Just as Ben has said.

Ronnie:And you’re the one who gets to decide, or what?

Frank:Yes, I’m deciding this!

Ronnie:Sure. Just let me down again! As usual, huh?! Since mom and dad have died, you’ve just been looking for a reason to get rid of me,so that you can jet around the world without a care again.

Frank:Spare me that, please. I’ve got work to do.

[At school]

Ronnie:Frank wants me to ship myself off to doomsville at the police's. He must be off his rocker! But trust me, it won’t take long anymore. Then he’ll know who the boss is! This self-righteous a**hole! Hey, would you stop with this sh*t and listen to me??

Sophie:Hey, are you bonkers?

Ronnie:Who is soooo much more important than me at the moment, huh?

Sophie:What? Nobody! I’ve just texted Emma that I’ll join them for the performance for Timo tomorrow!

Ronnie:Ah, now those singing and dancing freaks are more important to you than I am, huh?

Sophie:If you have issues with Ben, Frank and the whole damn world then you have to work this out with Ben, Frank and the world! Stop taking your bad mood out on me!

Ronnie:Well, then piss off!

Sophie:You know what? I will!

[At the police]

Officer:We will check your speeding related to the bus accident. It proves at least that Mr. Bergmann said the truth.

Lawyer:Your brother will have to expect an indictment.

Frank:It’s not me you have to tell this to.

Lawyer:If you had shown a bit more remorse it would have been very positive for you.

Ronnie: Tell it to him. He has shown the photo to the police.

Lawyer:Well, it’s just a question of time until the charges will be served. If you need my help, call me. Have a nice day.

Frank:Goodbye.

By the way, I will no longer watch how you screw things up and then act as though nothing has happened.

Ronnie:I’ll tell you once again so you can carve it in stone: I had nothing to do with this fucking accident.

Frank:You did! And you’re this close to destroying your damn life. And I won’t allow it.

[At the Bergmann villa]

Jenny:Oh, oh, you look tired. Did you not sleep well?
Emma:Um, I thought about yesterday again.
Jenny:Are you worried because of the rehearsal? We were good. You were good
Emma:No. It's about the other thing. You said if it happens it happens. But the question is where will it happen? Or rather where won't it be able to happen.
Jenny:Well, where do you want it to take place?
Emma:Well, at my home there's no way we can do it. My clan always hangs around in front of my door, the whole day.
Jenny:(Laughs)That sounds stressful.
Emma:Yes, it is.
Jenny:So did I get this right? You didn't sleep well, because you were wondering about the perfect, passionate date - sex inclusive - with me? That's so sweet of you.
Emma:That's, that's not sweet. That's complicated. We won't be able to do it here either. Come on, imagine, Ms. Schmidt-Heisig would be here with Ben's father and we'd have to have breakfast with them in the morning!
Jenny:Yeah, so?
Emma:They'd be able to tell, looking at us.
Jenny:Ach, quatsch! No one will be able to tell if you had sex a few hours ago by looking at you!
Emma:You'll be able to tell looking at MY face. It's guaranteed.
Jenny:So what this means is, we're searching for a place at which we can be undisturbed and where no one knows us.
Emma:That's what I thought, too.
Jenny:Oh, there is this little exclusive resort I've be-...
Emma:No way! A hotel, that's so cheap.
Jenny:Hey, could it be that you have very high dmands for this?
Emma:I want it to be something very special.
Jenny:It will be. I promise.

[At RaumZeit Records]

Ronnie: Surprised? (that Ronnie is still there)

Frank: To be honest, yes.

Ronnie: I wanted to tell you something else.

Frank: What?

Ronnie: That I’m not the only one who accepts the death of two people without scruples.

Frank: Excuse me?

Ronnie: Mama and Papa?

Frank: What’s that supposed to mean?

Ronnie: Where were you when they died? When I was at the hospital and almost croaked? Huh? On tour. Flying sky-high on coke.

Frank: Get out.

Ronnie: Of course, be like this, now..again..

You didn’t give a damn about us. During the last half-year you contacted us maybe twice. Mama was feeling completely down because of you.

Frank: Piss off, Ronnie. I don’t want to see you ever again.

[Bergmann home, Ben’s room]

Ben is lying in bed brooding. He gets out Bea’s notice and reads it out loud.

Ben: Everything will be alright.

Flashbacksof Ben and Bea

[Bea’s apartment]

She is walking around her apartment, brooding as well

Flashbacks of Ben and Bea

[At Pestalozzi, the large staircase]

The STAG is preparing for their anti-discrimination gig. A big sign reads: More tolerance for everyone.

Jenny: Well, I just did another announcement by cell phone.

Emma: Great.

Bodo: Then we only have to take care that everyone who is already here, stays here.

Luzi: Hey, guys! Something is going to happen here in a moment. So, don’t leave.

Emma: Yes, stay!

Bodo: Info for everybody: Get comfortable.

Jennyto Ronniewho is coming up the stairs: Ah, good that you are here. What’s going to happen here shortly has been intended for exactly such small assholes like you.

Ronnie: Piss off.

Jenny: It doesn’t seem to be going so well for you at the moment, does it?

RonnieNow listen to me, you fucking dyke, another word and your little blond girlfriend won’t know if you are a boy or a girl anymore.

He leaves.

Jenny: Ach. It really seems to be going very badly for him, indeed.

Emma: I told you to leave him alone.

Jenny: Why should I?

Emma: So that he…will forget that we exist.

Jenny: Believe me, he has more pressing problems right now.

[Pestalozzi, in the hallway]

Ben: Why aren’t you in Venice? Does it have anything to do with us?

Bea: No, it doesn’t have anything to do with us.

Ben: Okay… Then why did Heisig go by himself?

Bea: Because… [saved by the bell]I have to be in class.

Bea leaves.

[At Pestalozzi, the large staircase]

STAG stages a mock fight

Caro: I won’t tell you again! I’m really sick of it!

Jenny: It’s always the same with you!

Luzi: Of what? What has hap…

Caro: Now don’t you start butting in here.

Jenny: Hey, stop it you stupid bitch.

Caro: I’m fed up with this whole thing!

Luzi: …doesn’t mean that I don’t have an opinion about this

Caro: Who cares about your… Can you get out of my way.

The music to “Think” starts and the STAG begins to sing.

Frau Krawcykto Bea: When you see something like this, then everything is possible, isn’t it?

Bea starts searching in her bag.

Frau Krawcyk:Are you looking for something?

Bea: My camera. I wanted to record it because it is possible. I’ve left my camera in the car. I’ll be right back.

Timo comes in in his wheel chair.

[Out side the school]

Ronnie is trying to start his car.

Ronnie: Come on, you crappy car!

Meanwhile, Bea is getting her camera out of her car while Ben slowly walks over to her. Ronnie sees him.

Ronnie: You stupid wanker. You think you can fuck me over, do you? Just wait, I’ll show you.

Ronnie starts racinghis car towards Ben. Bea becomes aware of the danger.

Bea: Ben, look out!

(By the way, with the hearts..that's how I got it from Team English, I thought I'd leave them in there for your enjoyment, but the site won't show them..anyways,the "breaks" are lines full of little hearts;-)
